Renovation & fit-out

Kitchen renovation in Dubai

A good kitchen starts with the services behind it — water, drainage, power and extraction — and only then with cabinets and worktops. We plan both together so the room works as well as it looks.

Kitchen with a fluted island, white cabinetry and a dark stone splashback

Kitchens wear out faster than any other room. Doors swell where steam rises, hinges sag, worktops chip at the sink, and the socket layout that suited one toaster and a kettle now struggles with a coffee machine, an air fryer and a dishwasher. Many owners also want to change how the room relates to the rest of the home — opening it up, adding an island, or separating a closed cooking kitchen from a show kitchen, a common arrangement in Dubai villas.

We handle the whole job: planning the layout, coordinating the cabinetry, and carrying out the plumbing, electrical, ventilation, tiling and finishing work that a kitchen installation depends on.

What a kitchen renovation covers

  • Layout planning

Working triangles, clearances around islands, appliance positions and storage planned to the room’s real dimensions.

  • Cabinetry and worktops

Supply and installation of cabinets, quartz or stone worktops, splashbacks and hardware, coordinated with your chosen supplier or ours.

  • Plumbing

New supply and waste positions for sinks, dishwashers, fridges with water feeds and washing machines.

  • Electrical

Dedicated circuits for ovens and hobs, worktop sockets where you actually need them, and under-cabinet and ceiling lighting.

  • Ventilation

Extraction routed to the outside where the building allows it, or the right recirculating solution where it does not.

  • Floors, walls and ceilings

Tiling, flooring, gypsum ceilings and paint to complete the room.

Decisions that matter most

  • Keep or move the sink

Moving the sink means new drainage with a proper fall. In apartments that is often the deciding constraint.

  • Worktop material

Quartz is forgiving and consistent; natural stone is individual but needs sealing; compact laminates are slim and durable. Each has a different lead time.

  • Extraction route

A ducted hood performs far better than recirculation, but it needs a route to the outside that the building permits.

  • Appliance choices

Integrated appliances must be chosen before cabinets are made, because the joinery is built around them.

Questions we are often asked

Can I supply my own cabinets?

Yes. We can install cabinetry you have bought, or coordinate with a joinery supplier. Either way we take responsibility for the preparation work — services, levels and walls — so the installation goes in square.

How long is the kitchen out of use?

It depends on lead times for cabinets and worktops. We carry out the services and preparation first, then install once the cabinetry is ready, so the room is out of action for as short a period as possible.

Can a closed kitchen be opened to the living room?

Often, if the wall is not structural and the cooking extraction can be handled properly. We check both during the survey.
